These guys are based in Ayrshire:

This man is the man who did an absolutely sterling job for me:

      http://www.mccluskeybrowne.co.uk/ale...b.-currie.html

He works in Ayrshire and also Glasgow High Court. He also ventures through to Edinburgh High Court.

The bit that was most impressive about him was that he does not stick to any rigid framework. He has 'extended rights of audience' but had an Advocate in on the case from almost the outset and, in fact, the Advocate did all the representation through the various legal processes. The Advocate that he used, Derick Nelson (http://www.blackchambers.co.uk/index...derick-nelson/) was VERY on the ball and constructed almost flawless legal arguments.

The two as a team represented me outstandingly. There were of course times where the misunderstood things or went off on random paths but they were so approachable and thorough that I had complete confidence in them, as far as my life was on the line and they were the guys tasked with saving it!

They do the usual solicitor 'interrogation' to ensure they're going to invest their energies in someone that needs their expertise and they do drop in the odd 'slip up' comment just to ensure they are not helping someone that is not worthy of help but overall they make an excellent team. They keep EVERYTHING and have it all filed perfectly, they provide regular updates and hold regular meetings.

I suppose it depends on where you stay and what you expect. The entire process is very tiresome but if you wish to make it clear from the outset that you are an innocent man and WILL fight the false allegations then I couldn't recommend a better Solicitor/Advocate team. I'd imagine even the COPFS are wary of those guys...

Hi there, sorry to see another new member but hope we can help.
Either the above recommendation or if you are in Glasgow,McCormacks Solicitors (details in above Thread link) who used
        http://www.mackinnonadvocates.co.uk/...-j-graham.aspx

They were fantastic every step of the way and were at the end of the phone 24/7.

It could be worth your while calling McCormacks Solicitors and asking if they can recommend anyone in Fife. A lot of solicitors have people that they use outside of their normal operating areas and are only too happy to recommend those solicitors to people who call. Sometimes, however, you will stumble on a receptionist that's not got a clue...
