    Hi

Yes we have emails from her but have been told by the police that this is a separate issue to the allegations.

I did look on the separated dad site and found it useful thanks.

Im sorry that you are where you are and hope that you have a good support network. Myself and my partner are both lucky in that way. I just want Feb to get here now to get this over and done with, then we can hopefully start to rebuild our lives as this nightmare has been going on for just over a year now.

How long has it been going on for you and where are you up to in the process

        Advice Please

Hi my partners trial is due to start next week but had a message from solicitor to say that defence team ready but possible evidence that could stop trial, not sure if this means case collapsing or would be delayed. It is being listed before the court tomorrow for an update. is this a good thing??

I imagine the defence team would not of mentioned this unless it had some real possibility behind it , but this will be for the judge to decide , my case was thrown out as a "abuse of process" he went away for a hour thought it all through then read out a 3 page statement before he decided it was all over , fingers crossed for you , let us know how it goes and if possible why it was thrown out , as it my be a helpful avenue for other falsely accused forum members .

            Still going on

            Hi

Been visiting the site still over the last year, my partners trial was delayed then he was cleared of 3 charges but the jury could not agree on all of them so we are now back to court for a re trial later this year. This has been going on for over two years now. Even when the second trial is over we cannot get on with our lives as he is not allowed to see my children beginning to struggle with it all. I will support him at court but can not see a future for us just dont have the heart to tell him and let him donw but not sure what else to do??

            Any suggestions??

You've been on a very long arduous journey. I can understand why you feel you might need to leave. However, that could be because you thought it would all be over - it's not.

Nobody can tell you what to do. My suggestion is that you continue to support him, but how your relationship goes, needs discussion between the two of you.

I was about to post some bananas for you, but given you have a retrial for the other counts, that would be a bit premature.

What a horrible situation for you both.

Does anyone have any experience on what happens after a not guilty verdict SS have told me that no matter what the verdict is once you are accused you are guilty there was just not enough evidence to prove it therefore my partner would never be allowed to be around my children or any other children. It all seems so unfair are they right or just trying to scare me into leaving the relationship?

As you have a retrial pending SS may well be looming until that is over. It's after that you can start making progress. Remind me, is he now living away from you?

Yes we have been told that we can not be together and I have also had to sign a court order that he will not see the children if he does I am in contempt of court. We are just trying to look to the future after the trial but it does appear going on what SS have told me that it will never get any better

have you contacted a family law solicitor who is used to dealing with these cases? There are a couple of free family law clinics in the UK.

                                Legal Aid delay

                                Hi

Advice needed please. My partner has a re trial coming up soon he has started paying towards legal aid but they have now asked for some more paper work which he has. The worry I have is that whilst this is going on he still has not seen his solicitor or even met the barrister. The retrial is less than 6 weeks away and I am getting worried that they wont have enough time to prepare the case, is this normal?
