  • No interest in justice

It appears evident to me that the police and cps don't seem to appear to be interested in speedy justice. I contacted them today and again offered them 300+ text messages that I have that more than provides enough reasonable doubt, however they again declined the offer. It seems they are OK taking facebook messages and the like straight from the FA but not from the accused. The police argument was that if they source the messages themselves then they know they are all real as I could have supplied them edited or false information. I argued that supplying false information to the police would be a criminal offence and I wasn't stupid enougth to do that. Well my argument feel on deaf ears, I shall just have to wait for the forensic IT people to recover the texts that are on my phone they seized, whenever that will be, who then will supply it to the police, whenever that will be, who then will supply it to the PPS, whenever that will be, who will then come to a charged decision, whenever that will be.

I think they make it up as they go along. After all, they accept evidence from solicitors don't they? It really is 'hurry up and wait', but, no, they are not interested in the truth and they are not interested in justice.

When the CPS said that the case against Liam Allen was dropped because 'there was no longer a realistic prospect of a successful prosecution' it set the seal on it for me. They and the police should have been grovellingly apologetic and should have been in touch with Liam immediately with a sincere and heartfelt apology. Instead it was just another failed prosecution to them, but he hadn't heard from either of them days later. It's shameful.

I'm beginning to wonder why it isn't the lawyers themselves, prosecution and defence, railing against the system. Sincere apologies to those who are, but there aren't enough of them. Silence is consent/agreement and all that.
