  • Falsely Accused of consecutive accounts of rape over 2 nights

    Hello,

I am currently on bail since last week on consecutive counts of rape over 2 nights in a hotel with a girl i was seeing - shes claiming the first night she was drunk and blacked out but remembers waking up but i went sleep fully clothed and woke up (there were 4 of us in the room my friend and her friend aswell in a another bed) the second night she claims i forced myself on her and she had a safe word with her friend which apparently she screamed out to which her friend told her to get on with it and threw a pillow at her also that she was also crying - actual events were that she actually invited me into the bathroom at first which then continued into the bedroom all of this occurred with the 4 us in the same room - she has also not told police about the further times we actually met up just the two of us and a further time of all 4 of us in the car to which sexual activities then took place again, i was also invited by her to come round her house when her parents were out during the day additionally she sent me a photo of herself in her underwear which i did not request at the time, also never told the police that we were actually talking and it was getting to a point where she wanted to be in a relationship with me but i disagreed and thought we would be better off not as we live so far away.

Just was looking for some general advice and what you guys believe could be the outcome to all of this (the police have taken my phones to search for evidence)

    Hi Jdot

    Welcome.
Unfortunately we won't be able to tell you what will happen with your case as the outcomes are widely different for each case.
All I can say is that when you are innocent you must trust that innocence.
Write down everything you can remember about the situation and the relationship whilst it's fresh in your mind. Unfortunately these things can drag on for months.
If you're charged, and that's only an if, then you'll need your defence to be strong.
Keep your notes safe and hang in there!
It's quite a long and agonising wait in most cases.
    Be strong
