  • Nfa!

The day before my second bail date, the police contacted me to say there would be no further action, and also advised me to avoid any further contract with my FA in case I was then subject to further allegations!

I can't describe the relief I feel after going through six months of hell. I've had many dark moments but I managed to get through it somehow. I haven't posted a lot on here, but I've found the site to be a great source of strength and support.

I'm still a bit shellshocked that my nightmare is over. I think it will take some getting used to, but hopefully now I can get my life back on track.

Recalling your original post it seems that everyone concerned has seen through your ex's allegations; but sound advice from the police!

    Thanks for updating the forum...

Expect mood swings. Many on here have come back to report that they cannot understand why they sometimes aren't the same as before. It's perfectly normal for the abnormal situation you are in.

Thanks for the advice. I can already feel the relief changing into bitterness and anger. But I am determined to learn from this experience, move on and enjoy the rest of my life.
