    Hi everyone !!

Just wanted to ask if anyone has had their passport taken off them or have had to stay in the country whilst their investigations were on going , or perhaps when they have been charged and awaiting trial .
Either way it would be interesting to know
    Thanks x

I checked with my lawyer and it's to do with bail conditions if you have them, I went abroad twice whilst on bail but couldn't stay away from my bail address for more than 6 nights.
They tried to bury us- they didn't know we were seeds

      hi

Was it on your bail condition not to stay away for more then 6 nights away from your bail a address or this is a general rule for bail?Thank you.

        AmandaF's lawyer is right.

I remember going abroad at least 3 times while on bail, and even two weeks only before the trial.
Bail conditions were not to approach 100m near my Fa's address.

My barrister told me that I was not obliged to be present during the trial but in my interest I did.

Was it a limit in the time you spent abroad?or you could stay as long as you wanted as long you were here for bail?

I had to answer bail once a month before being charged then it was less.
The most important thing is to be present at the time and date written on your bail sheet that you should have signed at the police station.

I suppose I could have gone for a month and be back only to answer bail again otherwise they would have issue a warrant, they would have arrested me and then it would have been another story.

Best of luck miha81. Dont worry if they rebail you - its all part of those sick way to make you suffer😡

As far as travelling whilst on bail - my partner has been on bail for over 3 years and regularly goes on holiday to get away from it all. I've been told that some of the others arrested have had their passports taken away from them and have had bail conditions set . I see this as a good thing but then again i dont know what to think anymore !

He has to answer to bail in 2 weeks. Just want it to be over

Again maybe it's because we were in SCotland- I was told that although there was nothing in bail conditions to prevent me from leaving the country I had to be available should they want to haul me back in for any investigations, which I hasten to add they never did. I was never ever interviewed, even to say "No comment". I did brick it at the airport though I have to say

This is an interesting thread ive just posted something similar as there is nothing stated on his back form other than he has to stay at the address he's been bailed too should I take this to mean he's free to travel on a short holiday as long as he is back to answer to bail ?

I believe that is correct- but if in doubt check with the appropriate agencies- there's no lawyer involved yet is there? I think the main thing is he has to be contactable as in if the cops should turn up at his bail address and he's not there it could be difficult

My husband was told this is your bail address ...... and that means you must sleep at that address every single night. We have no plans to travel but it sounded like he couldn't go anywhere else!

People on bail have been allowed to go away and that includes spending nights away. They had to inform the police first

When my husband was on bail he was allowed to travel with no restrictions.. including a 2 week holiday in the Caribbean which was planned before he was accused.

                              Hi RF

If the police RE allowing people to travel. How can they trust them to come back ?
