i would like to tell my story about historic sex allegations. there was a knock on the door over a year ago at 5oclock in the morning it was the police. my husband was arrested for allegations from 45 years ago.he had a son and daughter from his first marriage who he lost touch with. he had not seen them for over 30years. they knew where he was he did not know where they were. there were 21 allegations made about him. it went to the crown court the judge cut it down to12. the trial was awful they told loads of lies and they did not have any evidence. he was supposed to have abused them for 10years and there mother was there and did not see anything. none of it made any sence at all. the case worker was not experianced enough and the barrister did not seem to be on my husbands side. my husband is now in prison for something he has not done. the barrister said no grounds for appeal. we tried to get another solicitorto take the case on no luck so far. my husband is 68 years old. he has never done anything wrong in his life. he was sent to prison for a long time. he is copeing quite well considering. i am on my own now. it was in the local newspapers it was awful. i live in a small town i have had to put up with everybody gossiping about it. i have got two sons and family who are supporting me and my husband. family and friends know he would never do anything like they said. i am feeling much better now i am quite a strong person you have to think positive. i am a private cleaner and all the people i work for have very supportive. its my jobs that have kept me going. i hope this helps somebody else going through the same thing. my husband phones me up reguarly and we go to visit him. i miss him very much. we will be together again one day.

    Hello Janet,

Thank you for your introductory post; I have moved it to the falsely accused section of the forum as this is more appropriate.
