Hi and welcome to the forum,

More than a few of the members here have experienced false allegations relating to custody issues but if you look at their threads do remember that every case will be different and so won't necessarily have the same outcome.

However for a general indication have a look here:

Hi blackdahlia, my case is quite similar to yours. My partner of 12 years made false allegations against me after i caught her cheating. She initially made allegations of assault against me which i have already been acquitted of at crown court on appeal. I was made homeless by my bail conditions which allowed her to move her boyfriend into our house. A couple of months after the assault allegation i told her i wanted joint custody of our daughters and she found out i went out for a meal with a female friend from work. She then made historical allegations of rape against me. I have been on bail now for 9 months and answer bail tomoro. 9 months is not that long compared to some people the police and cps abuse pre-charge bail all the time. My advice to you is be ready for a long wait. Its terrible when u have kids i have 3 young daughters i havent seen since october 2013. I was very close to them and now am unable to see them as social services became involved. They are being brought up by my Ex partner and her boyfriend which is hard to deal with. My advice is focus on the injustice of it all and use this as fuel to fight back. Its tough living day to day im 1 year in from the start of it all. But keep going ,get the support of family and trusted friends, get a good solicitor and fight. My ex partner has mental health issues its quite common for women with personality disorders to make false allegations of rape, it might be worth you researching this online. This site is great for advice and lets us all know that there are others out there in the same situation. I found a quote on here that gives me hope. THE TRUTH IS LIKE A LION, YOU DONT NEED TO DEFEND IT, LET IT LOOSE IT WILL DEFEND ITSELF. good luck and stay tough.
